Liability insurance will cover this specific risk, in addition to any specific requirements of a General Contractor while working as a sub-contractor on specific jobs. Owners and Contractors Protective Liability will protect a customer or contractor from liabilities resulting from accidents or careless acts of a contractor hired to complete a job on behalf of the insured. With this coverage, the protection of the policy is for the property owner or the general contractor for whom the work is being performed.
