Homeowner’s Insurance coverage provides the client with financial protection against loss due to catastrophic events, theft, vandalism and accidents. The standard homeowner’s policy includes coverage for the structure, personal property, personal liability, and additional living expenses. A common misunderstanding, your homeowner’s insurance does not pay for damage caused by flood. Flood policies are written separately and cover the single peril of rising water. The main types of coverage in a homeowner’s policy are described below:

A home inventory is typically the best way to determine the amount of coverage you will need on your policy.
Covers the insured against liability claims for bodily injury or property damage caused by you to other people. The amount of coverage can be adjusted to meet your specific needs. Higher levels of liability coverage, in excess of the limit on your homeowner’s policy, can be obtained through a Liability Umbrella.
